3D Volumetric Bone Densitometry is performed with QCT Pro technology at Sonomed Medical Imaging Center. QCT Pro has a different technology than DEXA devices that perform classical bone densitometry.
Approximately 55% of fractures due to osteoporosis are undetectable with DEXA Systems. Therefore, QCT is preferred for accurate diagnosis.
QCT is an innovative and technological medical software that allows the measurement of bone density of the vertebra and femur regions with a digital tomography device.
