OBSTETRIC ULTRASONOGRAPHY
Ultrasonography is widely used during pregnancy because it can obtain very high-quality images and because the device, which works with sound waves, has no harm to the baby or the mother.
We can generally group the ultrasonographies performed during pregnancy into three groups;
-Early pregnancy ultrasonography performed between the 11th and 14th weeks of pregnancy
-Detailed pregnancy ultrasonography performed between the 18th and 24th weeks of pregnancy
-Gray-scale and Doppler ultrasonography performed after the 24th week in high-risk pregnancies.
EARLY PREGNANCY ULTRASONOGRAPHY
This is ultrasonography that can be performed from the 11th week up to the 14th week of pregnancy, evaluating the baby’s body integrity, especially nuchal translucency, nasal bone development, and heart beats. By evaluating these obtained data together with the blood test results performed simultaneously, early diagnosis of possible genetic disorders can be made. In this way, necessary precautions can be taken and the decision for termination can be made very early, before the pregnancy progresses, if necessary.
DETAILED PREGNANCY ULTRASONOGRAPHY
The “Detailed Ultrasound” or “Anatomy Scan” examination is a high-quality imaging examination that should be performed on every pregnant woman during routine pregnancy follow-up, between the 18th and 24th weeks of pregnancy, where all the baby’s organs are examined. This period, also called the second trimester (months 4-5-6), was chosen for detailed ultrasound because the development of all major structures of the baby is completed and bone development has not yet intensified, resulting in the highest image quality. Along with the ultrasonography data, the results of blood tests performed simultaneously are evaluated together to calculate probability percentages for certain hereditary diseases, and more advanced examinations are sought in pregnancies with high risk.
- ULTRASONOGRAPHY AND DOPPLER AFTER THE 24TH WEEK
-Sometimes for the follow-up of some findings detected during routine early pregnancy ultrasonography and detailed ultrasonography performed on every pregnant woman
-In pregnancies accompanied by some pre-existing maternal diseases, which we define as high-risk pregnancies, or some conditions developed during pregnancy (such as gestational diabetes, hypertension)
-Or it is applied in pregnancies where detailed ultrasonography could not be performed between the 18th and 24th weeks.

Architectural decisions were made by considering all details for our patients and guests. Special waiting and resting areas were created to ensure the comfort of our patients and guests.
When creating the lobby and waiting areas inside the building, a relaxing ambiance was targeted for our guests. Comfort and hygiene were prioritized. Materials that can be easily and quickly cleaned and where hygiene application can be comfortably performed were preferred in frequently used areas such as corridors, lobby and waiting areas, restrooms, doors, and stairs. While considering all these, a visual space where our guests could feel peaceful was also targeted.
