Dental tomography is a radiological diagnosis method for creating a cross-sectional image of the area to be examined using X-rays. With the tomography image, bone and soft tissue details that cannot be seen in normal X-ray films can be seen. A large number of sections are taken from the axial, sagittal and coronal planes with a dental tomography device. Then, these sections are sliced and reconfigured using advanced software, allowing the targeted area to be viewed from any angle and from any direction.
WHAT DOES USING A 3D DENTAL TOMOGRAPHY IMAGE GIVE YOU?
A higher treatment success is achieved by using an advanced diagnostic method in the treatment to be applied to the patient.
The decision-making process for the treatment becomes clear, and since the decision can be taken more quickly and clearly, the patient’s treatment is started in a shorter time.
