He was born in 1966 in the Bozüyük district of Bilecik.
He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education at Bursa Namık Kemal Primary School and Bursa Girls’ High School.
He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1991.
In 1997, he received his specialization in the Department of Radiology at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine.
He has a special interest in musculoskeletal MRI imaging.
